Curran Antonelli, LLP partner Ryan Sullivan obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a financial advisor client in Essex Superior Court. Over the course of the five day trial, the jury considered claims for fraud, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty arising out of certain failed promissory notes that had been offered through private-placement. Despite claimed losses nearing a half million dollars, the jury awarded no damages to the Plaintiff.
