Fyre Fest Bankruptcy Trustee Wants to Subpoena Netflix and Hulu over Documentary Footage

The trustee overseeing the Fyre Festival bankruptcy has issued subpoenas to Netflix and Hulu while trying to determine if the “insider” footage obtained for the streaming services’ respective documentaries constitute assets of the debtor’s estate. The documentaries chronicled the involvement and compensation of the failed music festival’s founder, Billy McFarland.
