In addition to his impressive practice, Mr. Van Lierop is extremely active in giving back to the community by providing pro bono services, with a focus on serving disabled veterans in a variety of legal matters.
Mr. Van Lierop graduated from United States Military Academy at West Point and was commissioned as a United States Army Aviation officer where he served for more than 9 years as an AH-64A/D Apache attack helicopter pilot, including tours as a commander in combat in Iraq and in Korea. Among other awards and distinctions, during Johann's service in the United States Army, he received the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Combat Action Badge. After graduating, Mr. Van Lierop honed his legal skills in two of the most prestigious law firms in the State of Florida.
“With this merger, we look forward to continuing to provide trusted legal services to our clients at the highly sophisticated level that they have come to expect, but with the added efficiency and attention the Firm’s combined resources will provide,” said Mr. Van Lierop, adding, “I could not be more excited to join this great team and serve our current and future clients, in Florida and elsewhere, with world-class representation.”
